Well I don't think I'll get much reading done today, have a house full of little boys so my day is going to be busy. But I wouldn't have it any other way. :)

Who doesn't love a book about a man and his dog? Throw in a supernatural twist and what do you have? A awesome story!! Filled with twists and turns, some expected and some totally off the wall. The relationship between a man and his dog is always a good read and this doesn't disappoint. It's one of those books that you don't want to put down but don't want it to end either. If you only read one book this month, make it this one.

Mr. Nicholson does it again! Sure this is an alien story,
but it's not your average alien story. The characters are
the type you catch yourself cheering for and the background
is great. The whole town is involved in the story but a few main
characters stick out. It's your typical small hick town that something
in the woods is out to take over. If you're into aliens then this is the book for you.

Mr Shea does it again, I felt like I was right there in the Everglades with Rooster.
The story line is excellent and the descriptions of the characters and the creatures
were spot on. Couldn't put it down, read it all the way from start to finish in a day.
Wish I could give it a higher rating, sure deserves it.
I have a new grandson named Jaxsen James and he was born on 10/11/12
I received a really interesting email yesterday from author Scott Nicholson. I am truly honored to get an advanced copy of his new book "Alive" that is due out in mid-December. Mr. Nicholson is an amazing writer and I love his work. I've read most of his books so far and have not been disappointed. If you're looking for a good read at a reasonably price look him up on Amazon or Barns&Noble. More authors I reccomend are Hunter Shea, Mark Tufo, JR Rain and HT Knight, all these guys books ROCK!! And of course can't forget Stephen King and Dean Koontz.

This review is from: The Vampire With the Dragon Tattoo (Spinoza Series #1) (Kindle Edition)
This story is fast paced and very interesting. It's not so long as to loose the reader to boredom but short enough to leave you wanting more. The characters in this story are interesting and the author keeps them moving right along. If mysteries are your thing then definitely check this one out.

5.0 out of 5 stars A ghost story with a twist, January 27, 2012

This review is from: The Body Departed (Kindle Edition)
Don't think this is just another ghost story because it's not. This is a ghost story from the point of view of the ghost. James is a ghost who doesn't want to let go and leave his earthly life and the circumstances surrounding his death have him baffled. The description of the afterlife in this book get you thinking about things. Everything gets explained and the ending is one that might make you cry so bring a kleenex. Keep em coming Mr. Rain.

This review is from: The Vampire Who Played Dead (Spinoza Series #2) (Kindle Edition)
J.R.Rain delivers again! Spinoza detecting at his finest. He has to find a body so a young boy can prove he is the son to inherit from the estate, but the body is missing. Spinoza again travels the roads of the dead and undead searching for the body and a fine bit of detective work leads him to the last place you will think about. Another fast paced page turner that really delivers your money's worth.
I'm new at this so here goes. I am mother to 3 grown children and 4 beautiful grandsons 5,4,3, and 3 months. I'm not really sure what to do on this but I think it will consist mostly of reviewing books, recipes and life in general. I love to read and read alot so I have alot of books and authors to recommend. I guess that's all for now, I'll be back tomorrow. Everybody have a good night.
